Online Lessons FAQ

What do I need for online lessons?
These lessons require a stable internet connection and that you possess a smartphone, tablet or personal computer with a webcam and microphone. For most people, the phone in your pocket and your home Wi-Fi works just fine.

Additionally, you'll need to have an instrument to practice on. Our dedicated staff can help you find a keyboard, guitar, violin, etc. to get started.

Will I be able to take lessons in person in the future?
Yes! Our goal is to transition back to in person lessons when it is safe to do so. By starting lessons online now, you not only benefit from music lessons sooner, but will have a guaranteed place on your teacher's schedule going forward.

Is there an additional charge for online lessons?
No, these lessons are offered at the same rates as in person lessons at our location.

How will I get books, drumsticks, or an instrument?
We are able to offer a no-contact delivery option in the Terre Haute area for books and other items we carry.

How often are lessons?
Usually lessons are once each week, either 30 or 60 minutes at a time. However, drum students have the option of taking 60 minute lessons every other week for the same price if scheduled directly with the instructor.

Who are the teachers?
Bass Guitar: Michael Fenton
Drums: Dan Lauby & Daniel Lauby
Guitar: Sarah Nation & Michael Fenton
Piano: Jonathan Coleman
Saxophone: Larry Comer
Strings: Orion Hall

How much do I need to practice?
We recommend setting aside an age appropriate amount of time, multiple times a week. Consistent practice is the only way to gain skill and fluency in music.
