Johnathon Paul received his Bachelor’s degree in Vocal Performance from Indiana State University, studying voice with the late Harriet Calder and piano with Martha Krasnican. Throughout his career, he has performed alongside Tony Award-winning actress Trazana Beverly and Laugh-In’s Alan Sues.
Johnathon has had a lifelong interest in Music, Theatre and the Arts with a passion for musical theatre. His strengths are teaching vocal performance, piano and/or theatrical techniques. Many of his students have gone on to prominent BFA Musical Theatre Programs, Disney Cruise Line and Parks, National Tours and Regional Theatres. One memorable student, Ben Davis, won a Broadway Tony Award. Johnathon’s students will receive an eager and energetic teacher on a consistent basis. His approach to teaching is with a delicate balance of seriousness and humor. He feels to “study” singing is the process of finding one’s unique voice. His teaching motto is, “Always be a first rate version of yourself, instead of a second rate version of somebody else” -Judy Garland. (Minimum Age 8 years old for voice)
