Jason Allen is a 2010 graduate of Wabash College with a Bachelor of Arts. At Wabash College, he studied piano under Cheryl Everett and was a founding member of the Wabash College Piano Philharmonia. He was also a member of the Wabash College Orchestra, Glee Club and Woodwind Ensemble.
Jason has taught private piano lessons since 2008, and has taught piano in the Terre Haute area since 2011. He loves sharing the gift of music with learners of all ages. Students can expect a stress-free and encouraging environment where they will learn how to make music with the piano.
Active in the community, Jason is the staff pianist at the Rockville Christian church and St. Benedict's in Terre Haute and has accompanied students and choirs from several local schools in the Terre Haute Area. He is also an active member of the Wabash Valley Music Teachers Association, a division of the Indiana Music Teachers Association and the Music Teachers National Association.
Sarah Schroeder is a 2012 graduate with a degree in Music Education from Providence Baptist College. In college, she played piano for Northwest Bible Baptist Church as well as for Providence Baptist College in Elgin, Illinois. She also stayed busy involved in music groups and the ladies summer tour groups. In college, Sarah student taught music classes from kindergarten to senior high.
Since college, Sarah has taught piano lessons from kindergarten to adult. Sarah enjoys showing her students the importance in music fundamentals such as chords, scales and transposing.
As a teenager, Sarah grew up in Marion, Iowa and played piano for Grace Baptist church services, church choir and school choirs, church and school singing groups, weddings and funerals.
She and her husband have always been very involved with various ministries at their local churches. She is currently one of the pianists at Bible Baptist church, involved in choir and in charge of the music schedule.
