Orion Hall has played violin for 12 years, studying under Sarah Nation (Heartland), Jill Brewer (Woodrow Wilson), Rodney Foster (Terre Haute North), and Eric Rodhe (Indiana State).
He has also worked with many ensembles and people in the Terre Haute area including the Terre Haute Sinfonietta, currently as first violin, Christmas Mass at St. Benedict’s, and numerous jazz gigs with Terre Haute North’s John Williams. Additionally, he have worked with CAYO and Crossroads Youth Orchestra, and helped with the Vigo County Theatre Arts summer workshop for six years.
Kristen has been involved in music since a young age and grew up singing, playing violin, and also playing piano. Her passion has brought her to pursue a path in music education. She is currently well on her way to earning her degree in Music Education at Indiana State University. She has already completed string techniques and vocal pedagogy and also actively sings in many choral events.
She is a current member of the American Choral Director’s Association (ACDA) and a current board member of ISU’s chapter of the National Association for Music Educators (NAfME). She currently has three years of experience teaching music in a private capacity and has also taught elementary music in the public sector for one school year. While teaching elementary music she taught fifth grade strings and also started an after school honor choir.
